Cooking Connections was a reminiscence project based around the theme of personal stories and memories related to cooking with family members.

Background

The idea for the book was inspired conversations about bread pudding.

It prompted further group thoughts and discussions about how important food is as part of a family’s heritage.

Once we collected the stories, we produced a book containing the recipe and the associated story.

It was presented as part of a launch that included poems, monologues and pieces of drama.
