Homelands is an intergenerational project based in Newham.  It has brought together two generations. The older generation has worked with primary school children sharing their experiences and stories of migration from their original homeland, giving young people a greater understanding of heritage.  

Through this collaboration we have produced a collection of testimonials from people who hail from all over the world.

The testimonials describe the older people’s’ home, their journey, their arrival as well as their valuable contributions to Newham.
